A 14-year-old model has reportedly slumped and died while taking part in a 13-hour fashion show and never regained consciousness.
According to reports, Vlada Dzyuba was on a 3-month ‘slave labour’ contract assignment in China with no medical insurance after being recruited by the agency.
She was said to have died of meningitis made worse by “utter exhaustion” in Shanghai, Siberian Times reports.
“Minutes later she collapsed and was unconscious. An ambulance was called but she died on Friday after two days in a coma. The preliminary cause of death is meningitis compounded by severe exhaustion,” the daily added.
