Pearl Thusi has taken to her social media to pen down beautiful message to veteran broadcaster, Noxolo Grootboom who read her last news broadcast yesterday.
Noxolo was all over social media as she united the nation on Tuesday evening at 7pm, as many sat to watch her last day broadcast on SABC after 37 years of service.
Her importance in the country was known after President Cyril Ramaphosa had to shift the time he was to address the people.
Noxolo’s last broadcast got her tearing up and lots of viewers were left emotional, most persons in their homes were left in tears as they bid goodbye.
Pearl decided to pay respect to her as she was seen kneeling in front of her.
The star stated how kind and beautiful she’s is as she thank her for sharing her intelligence to the world.
Pearl also went ahead to share how she and her father had to wait every night to hear her.
The actress concluded saying she was not able to watch her last broadcast but she will forever be in her heart.
“I’m shattered I couldn’t be home to watch one last time but you are forever etched in the minds of your people and will appreciate every night we had to share with you. Your grace, elegance, eloquence, beauty is something that I continue to aspire to”
