Photos shared online have drawn attention to the shocking state of Government Girls Science College, Agaie, in Niger state.
The girls’ only college is in such a state of ruin that people are wondering how the students are able to cope under such conditions and still be expected to do well academically.
The photos show the sad state of the hostel where the girls sleep. The roof is already caving in, leaving parts of the dormitory open to the elements.
The rooms are in such a bad state that students have to strategically place buckets to catch rainwater that drops into the dormitory from the leaking roof.
