DJ Maphorisa breezes through social media after taking a break off social media, following news that he escaped death.
Some weeks ago, it was reported that the DJ, some artists and his team were in a his bus when some gunmen shot multiple times at them, believing the target was Lawd Phori, but he escaped the assassination plot against him.
“The guys fired several shots from behind DJ Maphorisa’s bus. Afterwards, they overtook Maphorisa’s vehicle, stopped, and fired several more shots from the front to the vehicle” a recording company executive said.
Since the news went viral, Phori has been on the low, without showing up on social media.
However, on Friday, he shared on his Instagram story that he is on a flight with Kabza De Small, as they have a gig in Kenya.
Kabza and Maphorisa are yet to address the news, as it was rumored that Kabza was also in the bus targeted by gunmen.
