A 28-year-old autistic Nigerian student living in the UK, Toby Olokodama, has been declared missing, days after the decomposing body of his compatriot, Richard Okorogheye, was discovered inside a forest.
Okorogheye, 19, had also been declared missing by the British Police on March 31 and after one week of search, his body was later found inside a forest on April 7.
The Newham Metropolitan Police, which announced the latest missing person case on Sunday, 18 April 2021 via Twitter, said Olokodama left his parents house at midnight on Sunday and has not been seen since then.
The Police added that Olokodana is autistic, adding that his parents are extremely worried about his safety and welfare.
“Toby Olokodama, 28, has been missing from his home in Newham midnight. Toby is autistic and has learning difficulties. He is known to frequent transport hubs and travel on trains. His family and police are concerned for his welfare. If seen please call 101 ref 2068/18Apr,” the police announced on its Twitter handle @MPSNewham.
