The South African Music Awards (SAMAs) nomination is still on and AKA tells his fans to vote for him in his nominated categories which is the Video Of The Year.
Recall, the SAMAs have been dragged on social media for not nominating some of the hit songs and video for the awards most especially Master KG’s “Jerusalema” and Makhadzi in any of the categories.
However, Jerusalema, is currently making waves worldwide and fans are wondering why it didn’t any recognition from the SAMAs.
He went further to state that his fans should concentrate on getting him the award.
He explained that winning Song Of The Year can be a bit “tricky and political”.
Mega explained that he wanted his fan base to put all their eggs in one basket.
He said, “Hey Megacy, if we gonna do this SAMAs voting thing, let’s please focus on the Video Of The Year category. The record of the year category can be a bit political and a bit tricky. Let’s put all our eggs in that basket. Thanks.”
