The seemingly ‘resolved’ rivalry between popular blogger, Linda Ikeji and Nigerian pop star, Wizkid has just been renewed.
For the first time ever, Wizkid and Linda have been nominated in the same award category at the forthcoming MTV Africa Music Awards Johannesburg 2016 (MAMA).
The duo will go head to head in the Personality of the Year category alongside Pearl Thusi (South Africa), soccer player Pierre Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon), middle distance runner and Olympic gold medallist Caster Semenya (South Africa), Linda Ikeji (Nigeria) and Wizkid (Nigeria).
Wizkid and Linda made headlines early in the year when they went hard at each other on social media before the Nigerian Police Force resolved the rift between them.
Let’s see if either of them will walk home with the award come October 22, 2016 in South Africa.
