being well below sea level. The temperature reached 56.7 degrees Celsius in July 1913, which is the record temperature so far. The
temperature here is 47 degrees Celsius.
Fleming Mountain, Xinjiang, China
Fleming Mountain, which falls in the series of Tian Shan mountains in Xinjiang, China, is also counted in hot areas. In the year 2008, the
sea level here was recorded at 66.8 degrees Celsius. That year it was the highest temperature measured on the earth.
Queensland, Australia
